As well as being FAI Cat-2 sanctioned, this event has also been declared a New Zealand Overseas Paragliding League Event - so your score may contribute towards your NZ national ladder score.

XC PARAGLIDING ONLINE COMP WRAPPED

The 2014/15 Season of the Paragliding Cross Country Online Championship has been wrapped up and was won overall by Nick Neynens.

Another awesome day !! Mark Alton 90 k's two at 80 a few at 70 k's blue day thermal height 6000 ft looking great for tomorrow!



NORTH ISLAND XC CHAMPS

Epic day ! Geoff Christopher, Paris Williams, Neil Howe, Baz Katz, Rick Hawkeswood, Leslie Graham all flew 105 k's today. 5hrs of great flying under average looking sky's.


NORTH ISLAND XC CHAMPS

Great first day (Saturday) of the comp with 8 pilots flying further than 40 k's and Grant Tatham flying a pb in nz of 104 k's! ! Weather looking good for the rest of the week. Rest day today (Sunday) due to passing front.

BUSY NOVEMBER

So far its been a busy cross country month.

Over seventy logged flights on Leonardo with a good spread across the country.

Highlights would be Grant Middendorf's epic 117km circumnavigation of Lake Wanaka and Evan Lamberton's 50kms flying the convergence to set a new Moirs site record.
